- One input for words and sentences: Words show IPA, common senses and bilingual examples; sentences show a Chinese translation and a short explanation. Queries run after a typing pause. AI results are reference material, not an authoritative dictionary.
- On-device English speech: The complete Kokoro model ships with the app. Each request synthesizes fresh audio and plays it from memory without uploading speech text or saving generated audio. Initial model loading takes time; voices are synthetic.
- Personal collections: Sign in with Apple to save words and sentences and restore them across devices. Name and avatar are optional, and account deletion is available in Settings. Cloud queries and collection sync require a connection.

- Private by design: Local media, subtitle text, and translations are not uploaded to cloud AI services.
- Files and Wi-Fi import: Import from the Files app or transfer large videos from a computer on the same network.
- Your own User TV URLs: Add an authorized HTTP/HTTPS live URL, such as HLS, for live AI captions and translation. User TV is free; no channels, catalog, or playlist imports are supplied.

- Optional plans and calm company: Add estimates, manual steps, and likely detours when useful. Animal companions and optional nature sounds support a calmer routine; timing never completes a task for you.
- Records stay on each device: Activity records are local and devices do not automatically synchronize. Reports and support messages leave only through actions you choose.
